Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has refused to rule out a move away after being linked with Manchester United.

The Mexico international joined Wolves on an initial loan in June 2018. The loan deal included an option for Wolves to buy Jimenez at the end of the season for around €38m

He enjoyed a great first season for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, scoring 17 goals in all competitions during his debut campaign.

Wolves decided to make the deal permanent in April 2019, breaking their record transfer fee to keep Jimenez at the club.

The forward stepped up his goalscoring in his second season. He bagged 27 times from his 55 appearances as the Wanderers finished seventh for the second consecutive year in the Premier League.

He already has two goals this season, meaning he has now scored 46 times from his 102 appearances in all competitions for the English side.

This form has fuelled talk of a move away from the club this summer. Man Utd and Juventus are among the clubs rumoured to be interested in the Mexican.

Jimenez has consistently said that he would love to play in the Champions League. He also has not ruled out leaving Wolves in the near future.

During a speech at the Mexican embassy in London, as cited by the Daily Mirror, Jimenez said:

“I have three more seasons left [on my contract], if I stay here at Wolves, I’d be very happy.

“We know that anything can happen and there could be a change. I’m open to everything.

“I already had the luck to play some games [in the Champions League for former club Benfica]. It’s something incredible and it’s in my plans to play again, but first I have to do what I have to do with Wolves.”
