Amazon Studios has unveiled the trailer for the acclaimed fest hit “Sound of Metal” starring Riz Ahmed.
The “Nightcrawler” and “The Night Of” star plays a punk-metal drummer and recovering heroin addict who is rapidly starting to experience intermittent hearing loss.
Looking to maintain his relationship with his girlfriend (Olivia Cooke), he agrees to live with a deaf community to better understand and grapple with his hearing loss, but struggles to accept how his world has changed.
Darius Marder helmed the film which opens in select theaters on November 20th before arriving on Prime Video on December 4th.
