Tori Roloff Assures Fans Daughter Is ‘Fine’ Despite ‘Clogged Tear Duct’

Nothing to see here! Tori Roloff responded to concerns about her 9-month-old daughter Lilah’s left eye on Wednesday, August 26.

The Little People, Big World star, 29, shared multiple Instagram Story videos with the little one before writing, “Left eye is a clogged tear duct! Thank you people!! She’s fine. They won’t surgically unclog until 1 year. Ninety-five percent clear up in that time frame. She does not have an infection. Just some extra goopy love.”

The reality star went on to write that she had “tried everything to help clear it.” Roloff explained, “Warm compress. Pressure. Massages. And yes, even breast milk. It’s just taking its sweet time to open up. Thank you for the advice though.”

The Oregon native and Zach Roloff welcomed their baby girl in November 2019. Lilah joined big brother Jackson, 3.

“Zach and I are so excited to introduce you to our sweet baby girl Lilah,” the TLC personalities told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “She has been the perfect addition to our family!”

The infant’s birth came six months after the couple exclusively told Us that they were expanding their family. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother,” Zach and Tori gushed in May 2019. “We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!”

Since Lilah’s arrival, Jackson has been adjusting to big brotherhood. “It was really hard on me just because he walked in and just want[ed] nothing to do with it,” Tori said in a May episode of the Roloff family’s TLC show. “He didn’t want to see his sister. That was hard. It was really hard for me. It was the first step of, ‘Not everything’s gonna go the way you planned, Tori. You just gotta roll with the punches.’”

She and Zach, who wed in July 2015, have been “constantly monitoring” their youngest child due to her dwarfism diagnosis.

“When you have a child with dwarfism, you’re a little more hypersensitive to head measurements, neck movement and leg development,” Zach exclusively told Us in April. “Family history comes into play.”

His wife chimed in, “When things pop up like fussiness or a temperature, that can mean something so different when you have a child with dwarfism.”
