Having broken through on filmmaker Robert Eggers’ “The Witch” back in 2015, actress Anya-Taylor Joy (“Split,” “The Queen’s Gambit”) is now reuniting with the helmer for another project.
Eggers, who most recently directed “The Lighthouse” and the currently in post-production “The Northman,” is working on a remake of iconic 1922 silent horror film “Nosferatu” which was loosely adapted from Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”.
It is not known what role Taylor-Joy will play in the reworking, but Eggers has been planning the project for years. Taylor-Joy, who’ll be seen later this year in Edgar Wright’s “Last Night in Soho,” has Mark Mylod’s “The Menu,” George Miller’s “Furiosa” and the thriller “Laughter in the Dark” on her schedule.
