Rebekah Vardy has had enough of online trolls and their ‘endless nastiness’ and decided to call out those sending cruel jibes her way.
The WAG and former I’m A Celebrity star, 38, is currently enjoying a family holiday in Ibiza, but her getaway was recently overshadowed by a barrage of negative comments she received over pictures of her in her swimwear.
After pictures surfaced online of Becky hanging out at the beach with her footballer husband Jamie, as seen in The Sun, she found herself subjected to nasty comments labelling her ‘fat’ and commenting on cellulite.
Not standing for the cruel treatment, Becky hit back via her Instagram story where she called out those who had so harshly critiqued her and insisted she is ‘perfectly happy’ with her body.
Across a screengrab of such comments, Becky wrote: ‘REALLY is this what it’s come to??? I’ve not long had a baby.
‘I’m perfectly happy with how I am but thanks for the endless nastiness on pictures I never asked to be taken.’
‘I am certainly not fat,’ Becky hit back while normalising cellulite, as she wrote: ‘Yes, I have cellulite and what?? Who doesn’t… ffs. This needs to stop.’
Becky also hit back at one troll who tried to ‘shame her’ for having children before her marriage to Jamie, branding him an ‘idiot’.
She is mum to two kids, Megan and Taylor, from previous relationships and shares three children; daughters Sofia and Olivia – who was born back in January – and son Finlay with husband Jamie.
Jamie is also dad to daughter Ella from a previous relationship.
After venting her frustration, Becky decided to brush off the negativity and not let it get to her, adding alongside a poolside snap: ‘Anyway screw the horrible comments, I’m going back to having fun with my kids.’
Becky’s holiday comes as she is in the middle of a WAG war with Coleen Rooney, after Coleen accused Becky of selling false stories about her to the press in an elaborate Instagram stories ruse to expose her.
Becky denied doing so and is now accusing Coleen of making her a ‘scapegoat’ and leaking stories to the press herself, as the two stars are now locked in a lawsuit over the fallout.
Coleen has said that Becky’s ‘defamation’ suit against her is ‘disappointing’ and claimed in a statement that ‘the time and money could be put to better use’.
