Red Notice
Dwayne Johnson has posted a new photo from the set of the international action-thriller “Red Notice” which recently returned to production. Johnson play an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the most wanted art thief in the world (Gal Gadot) whilst also dealing with a con-man (Ryan Reynolds).

Johnson also discusses some of the safety measures which are being taken on set, saying they’ve implemented “the most aggressive health and safety Covid measures in all of Hollywood”. Johnson and his family were diagnosed with COVID-19 after coming into contact with a family friend. [Source: Instagram]

Fantastic Beasts 3
Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne has revealed that filming has resumed on a third “Fantastic Beasts” film around two weeks ago. The project was temporarily put on hold due to the ongoing pandemic over six months ago. Redmayne indicates COVID-19 safety protocols are in place and while it is a “different process,” he says it “still feels like it’s fizzing and that everyone is working at the top of their game.” [Source: Cinema Blend]

Mother-Android
Algee Smith (“Euphoria”) has joined Chloe Grace Moretz in the sci-fi feature “Mother-Android” at Miramax. Penned by Mattson Tomlin (“Project Power”), Matt Reeves is attached to produce.

The pair play a couple who go on a treacherous journey to escape their country, which is caught in an unexpected war with artificial intelligence. Days away from the arrival of their first child, the couple must face No Man’s Land – a stronghold of the android uprising, in hopes of reaching safety before Georgia give birth. [Source: Deadline]

Spider-Man 3
Though he officially can’t say one way or another, actor JK Simmons is not done with his role as J. Jonah Jameson in the “Spider-Man” films just yet. Following a cameo in “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” the actor is expected to return for the next entry in the series. Speaking to Collider, Simmons strongly hints he’ll be back:

The actor says: “There is a distinct chance, there have been discussions, and I’m not going to say anything definitive [laughter] because I don’t know if I’m allowed to. But yes, I’m very optimistic that I’ll have some more J.J.J. in my future.”

Run
Hulu has set a November 20th premiere date for “Searching” helmer Aneesh Chaganty’s horror-thriller “Run” starring Sarah Paulson. Chaganty co-wrote the screenplay with Sev Ohanian. The film follows Diane (Paulson) who has raised her daughter Chloe (Kiera Allen) in total isolation, controlling every move she’s made since birth. There are secrets that Chloe’s only beginning to grasp and soon her actions will change their lives forever. [Source: Hulu]
