Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has insisted that he is excited for what’s to come after he impressed for the United States during the international break.
The American played 127 times for Borussia Dortmund between 2016 and the end of 2018. He got 19 goals and 26 assists for them in that time.
Chelsea saw enough from him that tempted them to pay around £58m to sign him in January 2019 before he linked up with his new teammates that summer.

Pulisic enjoyed a brilliant debut season for the Blues last year. He got eleven goals and ten assists to help his new side finish in the top four.
The midfielder has struggled with injuries of late and his form has dipped in 2020/21. He has only been involved in four goals in all competitions from 28 outings.
The 22-year-old performed well for his country during the international break and he got on the scoresheet against Northern Ireland.
Pulisic has told Chelsea’s official website that he wants to build some confidence:
“It always feels good, of course, to get on the scoresheet. It’s definitely going to help build some confidence.
“I’m feeling good right now, and the guys are feeling good as it seemed here. For me personally as well, going back to the club level, I’m really excited.
“I’m feeling confident, as I’ve said. I feel the best I’ve felt in my game for a while, so I’m excited for what’s to come.”
Thomas Tuchel recently admitted that he has been unfair with Pulisic, Emerson and Tammy Abraham since taking over at Chelsea:
“I can say nothing else but good things about him. Maybe his biggest problem is that I know him from Dortmund and I think he started only in the cup games.
“It is my responsibility and it is a bit unfair but I know what impact he can have in the last 20 or 30 minutes.
“He was a bit unlucky in the last few games. It isn’t a lack of trust or quality, it is just that he will have to be patient.
“I have another guy who I would love to mention in Emerson [Palmieri] who suffers from bad decisions by me.
“He does not play but he is an amazing guy who trains at the highest level and he never lets the team down with his mentality. It was a super hard decision today to have him out of the squad, the same with Tammy [Abraham].
“It is like this, we have a strong group. The guys have to keep on fighting. There’s no other way.”
