Paul Thomas Anderson’s untitled new ensemble drama has apparently begun filming with photos from the film’s set in Encino popping up on social media.
The MGM project, currently going by the rather fun codename of “Soggy Bottom,” is said to be a sprawling, Altman-esque dramas set in the San Fernando Valley in the 1970s. Bradley Cooper has been spotted on set complete in period appropriate attire.
Cooper is still the one of the only confirmed cast members at this point, though musical group Haim is expected to have a cameo. The project is also said to focus on a talented child star with Cooper a producer/director type who takes a shine to him.
