Paramount+ Plans DC Sniper Series “God”

XG Productions and CBS Studios are teaming for a TV series adaptation of Audible original series “Call Me God” to be produced for the Paramount+ service.

That audio series deals with the company’s founders – former FBI profiler Jim Clemente and FBI SWAT team and sniper Tim Clemente – and their role in the investigation around the sniper attacks around D.C., Maryland and Virginia in 2002 which saw ten people killed and three critically injured.

The Clemente brothers, who also served as consultants on “Criminal Minds,” are attached to write the scripted TV series alongside “NCIS: Los Angeles” showrunner R. Scott Gemmill. Brad Silberling is set to direct the pilot.
