Tottenham, Manchester United and Everton have all previously been linked, while Aston Villa reportedly has a £15million for the England international rejected by Bournemouth on Friday.

Sky Sports now claim Newcastle have offered £20million for Wilson, and are now waiting on a response from Bournemouth.

The report claims Jason Tindall is keen on bringing Matt Ritchie back to the Vitality Stadium in a separate deal, though wages may be an issue.

Newcastle have also had a £13.75million bid accepted by Jamal Lewis, as they step up their transfer activity.
