Newcastle are stepping up their game in the transfer window, and have reportedly lodged a £20million bid for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
Wilson has made no secret of his desire to play Premier League football following the Cherries’ relegation to the Championship.

Tottenham, Manchester United and Everton have all previously been linked, while Aston Villa reportedly has a £15million for the England international rejected by Bournemouth on Friday.
Sky Sports now claim Newcastle have offered £20million for Wilson, and are now waiting on a response from Bournemouth.
The report claims Jason Tindall is keen on bringing Matt Ritchie back to the Vitality Stadium in a separate deal, though wages may be an issue.
Newcastle have also had a £13.75million bid accepted by Jamal Lewis, as they step up their transfer activity.
