Flanagan Reveals “Midnight Club” Cast

“A Nightmare on Elm Street” alum Heather Langenkamp will lead the cast of the Netflix series “The Midnight Club”.

“Doctor Sleep” and “The Haunting of Hill House” director Mike Flanagan announced the casting line-up for this adaptation of author Christopher Pike’s 1994 novel which is being produced by Intrepid Pictures.

The story is set in Rotterdam Home, a hospice for terminally ill teenagers where a group of patients begin to gather together at midnight to share scary stories. The group makes a pact that whichever of them dies first will contact the others from beyond the grave.

Young actors Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and Sauriyan Sapkota portray the titular club of terminally ill young adults.

Zack Gilford, Samantha Sloyan, and Matt Biedel have also joined the project in supporting roles while some familiar faces from Flanagan’s other projects will guest star.

Flanagan is set to adapt the series alongside Leah Fong. Flanagan, Fong and Julia Bicknell executive produce.
