Details of the launch of the first trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” have arrived along with a description of what we can expect.
First up, Trailer Track reports that the first trailer is a 1min 37sec teaser trailer that will arrive exclusively with screenings of “Tenet” in cinemas from August 31st when the film hits the United States.
Next, a trailer is set to arrive online on Wednesday, September 9th – either the same one or potentially a longer first trailer. Some press have already reportedly seen at least one of the trailers and bootleg images from the cinema clip are already apparently making their way onto social media.
Inside Film Room have posted what they claim is a description of the cinema trailer saying much of it focuses around the Gom Jabbar test scene which unfolds in the background and rises in intensity as shots of the various major characters appear.
The trailer was reportedly set to go online this week originally, but with social media chatter still high over “The Batman” teaser clip they apparently want more distance between the two previews.
“Dune” arrives in cinemas this December.
