The yoga word is also known as “union” or “oneness” and this word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word yuj, it mean ‘to join.’

Eyes Palming Exercise

Benefits: –

1. Palming relaxes and refreshes the eyeball strength.

2. Stimulates the flow of the aqueous wittiness, the fluid that runs between the cornea and the lens of the eye, aiding the alteration of faulty vision.

How to do:

1. Sit gently and close the eyes.

2. Massage the palms of the hands together energetically until they become hot. Set the palms softly over the eyelids, without any excessive force.

3. Experience the warmness and energy being transmitted from the hands into the eyes and the eye muscle relaxing.

4. The eyes are being bathed in a soothing darkness.

5. Stay in this situation until the heat from the hands has been absorbed by the eyes.

6. Then lower the hands, keeping the eyes closed.

7. Again rub the palms together until they turn out to be hot and place them over the closed eyes.

8. Do again this process at least 3 times.

Note: Make sure the palms and not the fingers to cover the eyes.

Follow Note:

1. The benefits are better if the exercise is experienced in front of the growing or setting sun.

2. Be conscious of the warmth and light on the closed lids.

3. Never look directly at the sun except for a few initial moments when it is just rising or when it is about to set.

Definition:

“Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion. It is the most valuable inheritance of the present. It is essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow.”
