The England team made history last night with their Euro 2020 semi-final victory over Denmark.
Beating the Danes by two goals to one, Gareth Southgate’s has led his team to England’s first final in 55 years.
It has given England fans across the country plenty of reason to celebrate, although there is still the matter of winning the final on Sunday before football truly comes home.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is already looking ahead to Sunday’s final as he announced pubs would be allowed to extend their opening hours.
Southgate and his team will be entirely focused on being fully prepared for the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
But who is it that stands between the team and their first international trophy since the Wolrd Cup in 1966?
England will face Italy in the final at Wembley on Sunday night, with the game kicking off at 8pm.
On July 6, Italy beat Spain in a penalty shootout after the scoreline remained 1-1 after extra-time during the first semi-final match.
Italy are now on a 33-match unbeaten run, beating Spain who were the tournament’s highest-scoring team with 13 goals in six matches.
It was an intense game of football, leading to a nail-biting penalty shootout, with Italy holding their nerve and proving victorious.

Southgate and his team will undoubtedly have been watching the game in anticipation of meeting the winner in the final.
Talking after the Denmark game, Southgate had this to say about the journey so far: ‘I’m so proud of the players. It’s an incredible occasion to be a part of – the most pleasing thing is that we’ve given our fans and our nation a fantastic night, and the journey continues on for another four days’ said the England manager.
‘There’s one more massive hurdle to try to conquer. Italy are a very good side. They’ve shown outstanding form and have defensive warriors at the back who have been through everything. It’s something to look forward to.’

England captain Harry Kane also expressed his excitement for the final on Sunday: ‘It’s hard to sum up into words’ he said.
‘As a footballer it’s about the next one. It’s really sometimes hard to take it all in, to take in the crowd, everyone at home watching. Nights like tonight, you have to be here with the fans.
‘We haven’t won anything yet but you have to enjoy nights like tonight. But we have one more to go. I’m proud to be captain of this squad. We’re a credit to each other. We’re excited for a final on our home ground.’
