It’s the most anticipated game of the year, and now CD Projekt Red has released new gameplay footage from “Cyberpunk 2077” offering a comparison between two versions of the sci-fi RPG title – the older Xbox One X and the newly released Xbox Series X.
The results are surprisingly similar with not a lot of difference between the two beyond the obvious smoother frame rate for the title (and most likely a resolution jump too that isn’t conveyed in a Youtube video).
Part of the reason the game is taking so long is that it is being made in nine different forms – older PS4 & Xbox consoles through the just released new ones to PC and Stadia amongst others.
The game is set in the fictional world of Night City, California in the year 2077. The world is broken while MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. The streets are run by drug-pushing gangs, tech hustlers, and illegal braindance slingers.
The open-world RPG launches everywhere on December 10th.
