Several outlets have reportedly corroborated a Reddit post about upcoming games from publisher 2K teasing four new games.
The big one seems to be a Marvel strategy game is on the way from recent “XCOM” games developer Firaxis Games. Said turn-based action game is dubbed “XCOM with Marvel heroes” and some famous actors.
Others on the list include this year’s standard “NBA 2K22,” the “Borderlands” spin-off “Wonderlands” which focuses on Tiny Tina, and the early in development action game “Codename Volt” which is dubbed “Cthulhu meets Saints Row”.
Separately other reports have popped up suggesting that Square Enix’s E3 presentation this year will see the unveiling of a “Guardians of the Galaxy” video game from “Deus Ex” developer Eidos Montreal.
The company scored great acclaim with 2011’s “Deus Ex: Human Revolution,” but the 2016 follow-up “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” was less well-received and reportedly did not meet Square’s expectations. Eidos and Marvel signed a deal in early 2017.
