F is for Family
Netflix has picked up Bill Burr and Michael Price’s animated series “F Is For Family” for a fifth and final season to premiere next year. The series follows the Murphy family, an Irish-American clan living in the 1970s, a time when political correctness was the last thing on people’s minds. Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long, Debi Derryberry, Haley Reinhart, and Sam Rockwell provide voices on the series. [Source: Vulture]

Untitled Jermaine Fowler Project
FOX has put an untitled project from comedian Jermaine Fowler (“Superior Donuts”) into development, a series based on his years growing up in a working class town in Prince George’s County in Maryland with his family. Fowler will serve as creator, writer and executive producer on the project. [Source: Variety]

Netflix Casting
Netflix is casting up on its various series. Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones have been upgraded from recurring to regulars on the second season of their “Locke and Key” comic adaptation, while Brendan Hines has joined as a regular. Production on the new season recently resumed in Toronto.

Next, “Lincoln Rhyme” star Russell Hornsby has scored a key recurring role on the third and final season of the “Lost in Space” reboot. Hornsby’s role is being kept under wraps for now. Finally, Stefania LaVie Owen (“Messiah,” “Chance”) has joined the cast of “Sweet Tooth”. Owen plays Bear, a teenage, dystopic activist who’s the leader of the Animal Army – a teen army on a moral crusade. [Source: Deadline]

The Snoopy Show
Apple has released the first teaser for their new “Peanuts” spin-off series “The Snoopy Show” which premieres February 5th. The new series marks the latest project between Schulz Studio and Apple following last year’s acclaimed series “Snoopy in Space”.

Snoopy is a dog like no other. When he indulges in his fantasies, he can be a World War One Flying Ace battling the Red Baron or an intrepid astronaut landing on the moon. Snoopy is a beagle with an active imagination full of comic personas with all on display in the new series.
