Netflix has announced an August 25th premiere date for eight-episode limited thriller series “Clickbait” which hails from “Cut Snake” director Tony Ayres who serves as creator, showrunner and executive producer.

Adrian Grenier plays father and husband Nick Brewer who mysteriously disappears and is seen in a video online, badly beaten and holding a card that says “I abuse women. At 5 million views, I die.”

Nick’s sister (Zoe Kazan) and wife (Betty Gabriel) search to save him, they uncover a side of im they didn’t know existed. The story unfolds from revolving points of view.

Fena: Pirate Princess
Crunchyroll has announced that the anime series “Fena: Pirate Princess” will debut with two episodes back-to-back on August 14th. The service will handle the subtitled series worldwide outside of Japan.

In North America, Adult Swim’s Toonami block will air the English dubbed series. The story follows a young orphan who is on the run from pirates and the English Navy after her parents are killed. In her journey, she’ll partner up with the samurai as she searches for her family’s treasure and tries to avoid getting captured.

One of Us Is Lying
Peacock has released a teaser for “One of Us Is Lying,” an eight-episode original drama series based on Karen M. McManus’ best-selling novel.

The series takes place in a high school where five students enter detention and one doesn’t survive – dying from an allergic reaction. Simon narrates from beyond the grave, raising suspicion as to who may be his murderer among classmates.

Fate: The Winx Saga
Netflix has announced that production has commenced on the second season of their live-action coming-of-age fantasy series “Fate: The Winx Saga” in Ireland.

Brandon Grace, Eanna Hardwicke, and Paulina Chavez have also joined the cast of the series – Grace is set to portray the role of Grey, Hardwick as Sebastian and Chavez as Flora. [Source: Netflix]

Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life
Disney+ has released the official trailer for their animated series “Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life” which sees the return of the mischievous chipmunk brothers trying to live the good life in a big city park while having giant-sized, sky-high adventures. The series is expected to debut new episodes weekly starting on July 28th exclusively on Disney+.
