Arguably the biggest trailer of this year’s Superbowl event was the full promo for the new Marvel Studios series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” coming to the Disney+ service from March 19th.
Picking up after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” a now elderly Steve Rogers has passed his shield over to Sam Wilson/Falcon. The project is said to be the most expensive TV show made with each of its episodes costing around $25 million.
This six-episode miniseries will follow Falcon and ex-brainwashed super-soldier Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier as they team up to take down The Flag-Smashers syndicate. As Falcon wrestles with the legacy he is now in ownership of, old friends and foes return.
Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Bruhl, Emily VanCamp, Georges St-Pierre, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Noah Mills, and Danny Ramirez star.
