Trailer: A24’s Sundance Winner “Minari”

A24 has released the trailer for one of the most anticipated arthouse films going into this year – Lee Isaac Chung’s “Minari”.

The story follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream in the 1980s. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother.

Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, Scott Haze, Yuh-Jung Youn and Will Patton star in the feature which was the biggest winner at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, taking both the Grand Jury Prize for Drama and the Audience Award for the U.S. Dramatic Competition.

No release date has yet been announced but A24 apparently intends to make it an Oscar player either this Fall or in early 2021.
