Netflix has surprised released a teaser trailer for “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness,” a CG animated project based on Capcom’s popular video game franchise.
The project stars both “Resident Evil 2” game protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy and appears to be entirely separate to the other Netflix series that received an eight-episode order from Netflix in August. Andrew Dabb (“Supernatural”) serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner on that.
Specifics of this title are unknown beyond a 2021 release date. The release times with the Tokyo Games Show which is currently on, and ahead of the new game “Resident Evil: Village” which, like this Netflix project, will arrive sometime in 2021.
