There are many aspects and considerations that come into making this decision, one of which may be family considerations.
Another requirement to be considered before you make this sort of decision is whether you have a criminal record and can withstand a background check. Some countries will not issue a work permit or work visa if the applicant has a criminal record. Again the prospective applicant will have to investigate what the requirements are to obtain the work visa in the country where they want to teach.
This is a serious decision to make. Not everyone can just go live in another country. Many people can but it is not for everyone. Thus, obtaining a teaching job somewhere else in the world may lead to a very productive career. It could also be the career change for many people who have lost their job.
