Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, and Matthew Rhys will lead the ensemble cast of the climate change anthology series “Extrapolations” for the Apple TV+ service.
“Contagion” scribe Scott Z. Burns created the eight-episode drama which will also star Sienna Miller, Gemma Chan, Tahar Rahim, Daveed Diggs, David Schwimmer, and Adarsh Gourav.
Media Res (“The Morning Show”) is backing the project which is currently in production and tells interconnected stories about how the upcoming changes to the planet will affect love, faith, work, and family.
Harington plays an industrial industry CEO, Rhys a real estate developer, Miller a marine biologist, Chan a single mother and micro-finance banker, Rahim a man struggling with amnesia, Diggs a rabbi, Schwimmer a single dad, and Gourav a driver for hire. Streep’s role is under wraps.
