Following the first trailer over a year ago at DC Fandome, filmmaker Matt Reeves has premiered the full trailer for “The Batman” to close out this year’s event.
Last year’s clip was assembled with only 25% of the film having been shot, now the movie is well into post-production and so the footage understandably covers a lot more.
The film will explore the Dark Knight’s younger years with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman. He will deal with a murder mystery tied to the dangerous villain The Riddler (Paul Dano) and corruption in Gotham that could tie back to the Wayne family.
The film also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Peter Sarsgaard as D.A. Gil Colson.
“The Batman” opens in cinemas on March 4th.
