Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
The latest financial report from Nintendo confirms that the highly-anticipated sequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is still on track for a 2022 release. The report corroborates earlier rumors suggesting a release at the end of this year. [Source: Nintendo Japan]

The Last of Us
HBO Max’s TV series adaptation of the acclaimed videogame franchise “The Last of Us” will shift the timeline of the game back by ten years – meaning the series takes place in 2023 after the outbreak began in 2003.

That’s opposed to the game which unfolded in 2033 after a 2013 outbreak. One impact of the shift will be that of technology – mobile phones and the Internet were still in their relative infancy in 2003. [Source: Twitter]

Insidious 5
Actor Patrick Wilson has confirmed that the fifth “Insidious” film, which he’s making his directorial debut on, is currently scouting locations for a spring start of filming.

Wilson and Scott Teems wrote the film, with a story credit by Leigh Whannell, which sees Wilson reprise the role of Josh Lambert. Ty Simpkins will also return as his now-adult son Dalton Lambert with the action taking place a decade after the last film as Dalton begins college. [Source: Screen Rant]
