The Requin
Film Bridge International has sold Le-Van Kiet’s shark survival feature “The Requin” to various global distributors with the Alicia Silverstone and James Tupper-led film slated for delivery in June.

The story follows a couple on a romantic getaway in Vietnam, who find themselves stranded at sea after a massive tropical storm sweeps away their seaside villa. With the husband maimed and dying, the wife must fight the elements alone, while sharks circle below. [Source: Deadline]

Bros
Universal has set an August 12th 2022 release for Billy Eichner’s rom-com “Bros” – a project dubbed “the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two gay men maybe, possibly, probably stumbling towards love. Maybe. They’re both very busy.” Nicholas Stoller (“Neighbors”) directs while Judd Apatow produces. [Source: The Wrap]

Limbo
Filming has officially begun on “Birdman” and “The Revenant” director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s new film “Limbo” which is now shooting in Mexico City. Superman & Lois
The CW’s “Superman & Lois” is being temporarily removed from the schedule after being impact by a COVID-19 shutdown. The show will take a break after its fourth episode and will return with the remainder of the season from May 18th. “Supergirl” will take over the timeslot from March 30th when some of its sixth and final season airs.
