Daisy Ridley is set to star in and produce the indie drama “Sometimes I Think About Dying” which recently wrapped filming in Oregon under the helm of Rachel Lambert.

The story follows Fran, a woman living a quiet life who regularly thinks about dying. When she makes the new guy at work laugh, it leads to more: a date, a slice of pie, a conversation, a spark. The only thing standing in their way is Fran herself. [Source: Deadline]

Emmy-winning actress Ann Dowd has joined Jodie Turner-Smith, Brian Cox and John Cena in the Amy Rice-directed political thriller “The Independent” at Relativity Media and Rogue Pictures. Filming is underway in New York ahead of a theatrical release in 2022.

Set during the final weeks of a presidential election, an idealistic young journalist (Turner-Smith) who teams up with her idol (Cox) to uncover a conspiracy. Cena and Dowd play opposing Presidential candidates. [Source: Deadline]
