“Project Power,” “Paranormal Activity 3” and “Catfish” directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman have signed on to helm the sci-fi action thriller “Nemesis” for Warner Bros. Pictures.
The story follows a genius engineer who witnesses the President of the United States commit a deadly crime and teams up with a vigilante to take down the man and his corrupt government.
Emerald Fennell (“Promising Young Woman,” “Killing Eve”) penned the most recent draft of the script, taking over from Stephen Chin (“War Dogs”). Sue Kroll and Jules Daly are producing.
Joost and Schulman remain working on an adaptation of the radical environmental activists story “The Monkey Wrench Gang,” and a film about a twelve-year-old kid who steals his mother’s credit card and runs away to Bali.
