Peacock has renewed the drama series “One of Us is Lying” for a second season.
The first season, based on Karen M. McManus’ best-seller, deals with the murder of one of five students who entered detention at Bayview High School.
The death leaves the other four students as immediate suspects. Shot in New Zealand, the first season ended on a cliffhanger.
Writer Erica Saleh will take over as showrunner for the second season, replacing Darío Madron who remains onboard as executive producer.
