Outnumbered fans beg for new Christmas special after stars reunite for adorable ‘family’ snap

Outnumbered fans were given an unexpected treat as the show’s young stars reunited after two years apart.

Actors Tyger Drew Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez, who played precocious kids who played Jake, Ben and Karen on the BBC sitcom, have stayed close since it ended in 2014.

Daniel shared a picture of himself and his on screen siblings posing against a brick wall on Instagram on Sunday.

The trio of course looked noticeably more grown up and worlds away from how viewers first met them on Outnumbered in 2007.

The young star shared that – like many people – they hadn’t been able to get together for some time due to the pandemic.

He added the picture caption: ‘No more of COVID keeping the fam apart.’

His Instagram followers once again called for more Outnumbered, even if it was in the form of a one-off Christmas special.

One follower wrote: ‘Hopefully this is a sign of a Christmas special incoming.’

Another said: ‘Please do another outnumbered Christmas special!’

‘The Brockman Kids I love this!’ read another comment.

‘Christmas special 🤞🤞’ one fan replied.

Read another very excited comment: ‘CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 2021??? ALL WE NEED IS PETE AND SUE.’

Pete and Sue were Ben, Jake and Karen’s parents, played by actors Hugh Skinner and Claire Dennis, who revealed in 2018 that they are dating in real life.

Outnumbered, about a couple and their three outspoken young children, ran from 2007 until 2014, with four Christmas specials airing between 2009 and 2016.

The last time audiences got to see the Brockman family on the small-screen was Boxing Day three years ago, where Sue and Pete were on a mission to carry out a special mission for Grandad and bury his ashes.

Tyger has hinted in the past that more Outnumbered is not ‘off the cards’.

He told Metro’s Sixty Seconds: ‘I don’t want to say the Brockmans were one of the nation’s favourite TV families but there are a lot of fans out there who would like to see more.

‘I don’t think there will be another series but it’s not impossible that we may see another special.’
