His left-footed strike was ruled out by VAR, as Mario Lemina was penalised for a handball in the buildup.
Speaking after the win, Mourinho told BBC Sport: “It was a tough game and we knew it. They play very well, they don’t score many but they don’t concede many either.

Speaking about their performances, Mourinho continued: “He [Hugo Lloris] is there for that. Their goalkeeper also did it, a couple of saves that would kill the game. Hugo is the best French goalkeeper and made a couple of saves to show it.”

The North London side face Crystal Palace in their next match: “I am expecting a battle with Crystal Palace, that is the battle I am expecting, they will be very hard. One more day for them to rest than us, it is going to be hard and it is the only match in this moment.”
