As part of Nickelodeon’s upfront presentation yesterday, it has been confirmed that multiple kids-skewing series have been renewed.
A fourteenth season of “SpongeBob SquarePants”, a tenth season of “PAW Patrol,” a seventh season of “The Loud House” and a fifth season “Blue’s Clues & You!” are on the way, as is a third season of their “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” reboot.
That’s not all though. PAW Patrol’s yellow-themed English Bulldog Rubble is getting his own spin-off series which will premiere next year alongside the film sequel “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie”.
Next, a new ten-episode live-action series based on “The Loud House” is in the works to premiere on Paramount+ later this year. That service will also receive an all-new animated action-comedy series titled “Transformers: EarthSpark” this November.
Finally, a feature-length movie based on the iconic Pinkfong song “Baby Shark” and its Nickelodeon animated kids show “Baby Shark’s Big Show!” is on the way. Specifics are under wraps but it will premiere on the Paramount+ service in 2023.
In addition, an upcoming episode of “Baby Shark’s Big Show!” titled “The Seaweed Sway” next month sees multi-Grammy Award-winner Cardi B and her husband Offset lending their voices to their characters Sharki B and Offshark.
