Michael Dornan Leads “Joe Pickett” Series

Spectrum Originals has handed out a ten-episode order for “Joe Pickett,” an hourlong drama series based on “Big Sky” author C.J. Box’s bestselling novels.

New Zealand actor Michael Dorman (“For All Mankind,” “The Invisible Man”) has been set for the title role of a game warden and his family as they navigate the changing political and socio-economic climate in a small rural town in Wyoming.

Surrounded by rich history and vast wildlife, the township hides decades of schemes and secrets that are yet to be uncovered.

The series, which hails from “Waco” creators John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, will air for a nine-month exclusive run on Spectrum. Paramount Television Studios and Red Wagon Entertainment will produce.
