Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone have been spotted filming scenes for the upcoming “Thor: Love & Thunder” which is currently shooting in Sydney, Australia.
Photos and videos from the set at The Daily Mail indicate the new film is going to continue the “Thor: Ragnarok” gag of a troupe of Asgardian actors acting out a series of events that happened in the previous film.
A large theatrical performance stage has been built along the coast with the production shooting there this week. In the photos Chris Hemsworth’s brother Luke Hemsworth returns as Fake Thor, Matt Damon is back as Fake Loki, and Sam Neill is Fake Odin.
The shots also reveal McCarthy as playing Fake Hela, the actress dressed up in a variation of the costume Cate Blanchett wore in the last film.
“Thor: Love & Thunder” will arrive in theaters on May 6th 2022.
