Despite getting into the Love Island 2021 final, Faye Winter confessed she probably won’t be tuning into the series for a while.

The star, who landed in third place with boyfriend Teddy Soares, returned home to the UK this week after spending the last couple of months in Majorca.

But, despite having to isolate for a few more days, the 26-year-old explained that she won’t be spending her down time watching her actions on the small screen.

Taking part in a Q&A session on Instagram, one fan asked whether she will be watching Love Island ‘from start to finish’.

‘Right now I wish I would have time to, but I don’t,’ she replied. ‘It’ll probably be something that I will watch in a year or so.

‘It will be lovely to see mine and Teddy’s journey, and also be able to rewatch it whenever we want to.’

Faye also revealed she already has a date in the diary to reunite with beau Teddy.

‘I am seeing Teddy, as soon as my isolation ends, so that one is locked in the diary,’ she added to another.

‘The day I’m allowed out is the day I’m seeing Teddy.’

The lovebirds, dubbed Feddy, had a turbulent time together in the Love Island villa, and briefly split at one point over the Casa Amor twist.

Faye’s vicious outburst towards her beau attracted more than 24,000 complaints to Ofcom, with fans watching on from home shaken by the scenes.

However, they have put the drama behind them and will be setting up their own love nest.

Chatting about taking their romance to the next level, Faye insisted: ‘We have spoken about it and I think we will likely get a place together but I will probably still spend two, three nights – depending on schedules at work – in Devon.

‘Teddy will still have his own space, to be able to see friends, family but it will be our place and we will still spend time apart until we want to be with each other fully. I think that’s our next step.

‘Depends on how I get on in London, let’s be honest! I’m a Devon girl. And I say to Teddy all the time – as long as I’m near a pasty shop and there’s a good pint of cider I should be able to cope for a couple of days a week!

‘You can take the girl out of Devon but you can’t take the Devon out of the girl. Also, we’re going to get Teddy some wellies and he’s going to come down to Devon.’

Teddy was in full agreement, adding: ‘Personally when we’ve spoken about it I’m really open to Devon, anywhere in the UK that gets me closer to Faye.’

Love Island is available to stream on ITVHub.
