Kylie Minogue will release a new single called Say Something this week – and a new album, Disco, is due on 6 November!
Announcing the new music on Instagram today, the 51-year-old said: ‘Are you waiting for me to SAY SOMETHING???
‘My new album DISCO is released November 6th and will be available to pre-order from Thursday morning at 00:01 BST.’
Maybe 2020 can be saved after all?
The pop icon’s last album was 2018’s Golden.
Kylie previously teased her new era by revealing she was recording the new offering in her living room.
She told PA: ‘I’ve been really busy, setting up a home studio (AKA, my lounge room!) and learning so much about remote recording.
‘It’s been a steep learning curve for all the team as there are technical obstacles to navigate but I’m so thankful to be able to continue work on my album in this way.’
‘I’ve been riding the emotional wave along with the rest of the world, but creativity has been a big help.’
Glad to hear it.
Known for hits like On a Night Like This and Confide In Me, Kylie has sold over 80 million records worldwide.
Last year she played a triumphant set at Glastonbury, which she later described on Twitter as: ‘an experience I can’t describe but one I will never forget!!!’
All hail the queen!
