Jack Grealish refuses to commit his future to Aston Villa amid Manchester United links

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish admits he’s ‘not too sure’ about his future at the club amid interest from Manchester United.

Dean Smith’s side boosted their survival hopes with a vital 1-0 victory against Arsenal at Villa Park that lifted the side outside of the bottom three going into the final game of the season.

Grealish has been a shining light for Villa this season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be keen on signing the 24-year-old this summer.

The Norwegian made a move for the midfielder following his stunning goal at Old Trafford in December but Grealish decided to see out the season with his boyhood club.

Grealish is expected to leave Villa regardless of whether the club manage to survive and the midfielder admitted after the win that he may have played his last game at Villa Park.

Asked if the win could be his last game at the stadium in a Villa shirt, Grealish replied: ‘I’m not too sure at the moment.

‘I have one aim and that’s to keep this club in the Premier League. This whole club, this whole fanbase knows where we belong.

‘That’s all I’m thinking about at the moment, keeping this club in the Premier League. Hopefully we can do that on Sunday’.

Villa travel to West Ham on the final day with a better goal difference than Watford, while Bournemouth will have to beat Everton have any chance of staying up.

Grealish’s future could be decided on United’s result against Leicester, as Solskjaer’s men will likely need Champions League football if they’re to fund a move for the midfielder.

Jadon Sancho is the club’s priority, while Grealish is seen as a player that the club could get by without for a further 12 months if a move fails to materialise.
