Hong Kong protesters hold sit-in at airport

Thousands of pro-democracy protesters have been holding a sit-in at Hong Kong International Airport in protest against the police’s slow response to last weekend’s attacks – allegedly by triad gangs – on demonstrators and passers-by.A march is planned on Saturday to the scene of last weekend’s clashes – but the rally has not been authorised by police and there are fears there could be more violence.
