Universal Pictures, Miramax, and Blumhouse have announced that the highly-anticipated “Halloween Kills” is set to debut day-and-date both in cinemas and on its Peacock streaming service on October 15th.
The film is a follow-up to 2018’s “Halloween” revival which earned more than $250 million worldwide. The sequel recently premiered at Venice to divisive reviews that praised the film’s sheer relentless brutality and creative kills.
Set mere minutes after the last one, Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Anthony Michael Hall, Dylan Arnold, Robert Longstreet, Kyle Richards, Charles Cyphers, and Nancy Stephens star. David Gordon Green returns to direct from a script co-written with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
