Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly negotiations to star in a new untitled film from filmmaker Guy Ritchie at Miramax.
The project is tipped to be Gyllenhaal and Ritchie’s next film and is expected to shoot at the end of the year. Little is known about the film which isn’t likely to be “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” adaptation Ritchie was linked to earlier this year.
The project is said to fit into Ritchie’s visual style in the vein of his other three recent Miramax films like “The Gentlemen,” “Wrath of Man” and the upcoming “Operation Fortune” in January.
Gyllenhaal is coming off the Netflix released thriller “The Guilty” and has already shot Michael Bay’s “Ambulance” which will release next year. He’s also attached to survival drama “Suddenly,” and multiple film adaptations of comics including “Snow Blind,” “Prophet” and “Oblivion Song”.
