The Game Awards took place on Thursday night and with it a ton of trailers were released for games on the way in 2021 and beyond. Several other announcements were also made.
Among the highlights, beyond the already reported on teasers for “Mass Effect” and “Dragon Age,” came the reveal of “Evil Dead: The Game” for 2021, the “Dead Space” successor “The Callisto Protocol” which hails from the same team and is coming in 2022, a remake of arcade classic “Ghosts n Goblins” for Switch, and the reboot of the “Perfect Dark” franchise.
In terms of news, “Super Meatboy Forever” got a December 23rd launch date, “Outriders” will hit February 2nd, “Disco Elysium” and “Microsoft Flight Simulator” are coming to the next gen consoles, the Muppets’ Swedish Chef is coming to “Overcooked: All You Can Eat,” Master Chief is coming to “Fortnite,” and “Back 4 Blood” is essentially “Left 4 Dead 3”.
