Compulsive eating and food addiction

I used to be obsessive myself about certain foods. It was not emotional eating; it was more an addiction to certain food. Once I started to eat I couldn’t stop until there was no more.

Today I am much more discipline and I know how to avoid this kind of situation. I know what works for me and also I am much more focus on what I do. I question much more on the spot my actions.

You must believe in yourself. You must really believe that you deserve a healthy and slim body. Please remember, it all starts in our mind and in our thoughts.

Our beliefs and our faith in ourselves are what hold us back or get us free of bondage. You cannot achieve anything unless you believe you can. Believe me you can, because if others can, you can as well. Others are no better than you; they don’t deserve it more than you. They deserve it just the same as you and me.

Please, don’t feel guilty about how you eat or how much you eat. The guilt “eat us” from inside. The guilt is holding you back. Punishing yourself with guilt will not help you unless you can overcome the guilt, learn what you can from it and move on.

You must forgive yourself for not being perfect. And I have news for you, NOBODY is perfect. There is no one person on this earth that is perfect. We all indulge ourselves from time to time.

The key is to have your private tools, those that work for you, to handle the compulsive eating just before it gets out of hand. I know it can be very hard, but if you work on it everyday, a baby step at a time, you will master this problem on your own.

I am talking about you. Someone very wise said: “The power to rule lies within you”; “You have unlimited power to think”. We can drive away our destructive thoughts and our fears. Why not build instead belief that you will be successful.

Everyday practice will banish the food addiction or/and the compulsive eating.

You are the only one that can believe in yourself. You are powerful; use this power to your advantage.

You can achieve everything you desire, if you act and if you take the responsibility for getting a successful outcome.

That is why it is so important to love yourself and recognize what a wonderful person you are. Why only focus on the negative side. We have both positive and negative sides.

Get all the help you can get. It can be friends or family exercising with you everyday. You are helping each other staying fit and healthy.

It can be friends, it can be family, it can be group therapy, it can be a coach, and it can be courses on the internet.

It can be a course in healthy cooking or organic cooking. Anything that you find may help you; anything that give you strength and motivation to continue.

The truth is that if you practice everyday, you get a little stronger everyday. You will arrive to a point where you will be so strong, that you will do it on your own, because you will have regain faith in your abilities to win the weight battle and the compulsive eating battle.

You will have no more guilt. You will finally focus your energy positively toward your weight management, and acquiring new eating habits.
