The “Borat” sequel has undergone a name change to “Borat: Subsequent MovieFilm” and released its first trailer ahead of a debut October 23rd on Amazon Prime.
Sacha Baron Cohen returns as Borat Sagdiyev, the fictitious Kazakh journalist who traveled through the United States to make a documentary including his real-life interactions with Americans.
The project was conceived, written, shot and edited in under six months – a shockingly fast pace for something like this. The trailer also confirms the original rumored title is correct – Cohen got as far as appearing at a convention dressed in a Trump outfit and offering up a sex worker to U.S. Vice President Mike Pence.
