Netflix has released the first photos from filmmaker David Fincher’s highly anticipated new feature “Mank”. Fincher’s first film since 2014’s “Gone Girl,” the entirely black-and-white “Mank” was penned by his father Jack Fincher.

Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman) as he rushes to finish the screenplay of “Citizen Kane” for director Orson Welles (Tom Burke). ‘Kane’ went on to win the screenplay Oscar, credited to Mankiewicz and Welles, but debate still rages about who wrote what.
The film also stars Amanda Seyfried as Marion Davies, Lily Collins as Rita Alexander, Arliss Howard as Louis B. Mayer, Tom Pelphrey as Joe Mankiewicz, Sam Troughton as John Houseman, Ferdinand Kinsley as Ivring Thalberg, Tuppence Middleton as Sara Mankiewicz, Joseph Cross as Charles Lederer, Jamie McShane as Shelly Metcalf, Toby Leonard Moore as David O. Selznick, Monika Grossman as Fraulein Freda and Charles Dance as William Randolph Hearst.
Fincher regulars like composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, production designer Donald Graham Burt, and his “Mindhunter” cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt are working on the project which will be released on the streaming service this Fall.
