Sony Pictures has released a final trailer for “Uncharted,” their film adaptation of the famed PlayStation video game series.
This marks an improvement on the first trailer, mostly thanks to a switch of musical score and tone to feel more in line with the game’s treasure-hunting adventure tone. Even so, the film faces a sceptical fanbase over its casting choices.
In the film, “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland plays a younger version of the treasure hunting Nathan Drake, while Mark Wahlberg co-stars as Nathan’s mentor Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan. Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle and Sophia Ali co-star.
Reuben Fletcher directs the project which opens on February 18th.
