Film Planned About Frankenstein’s Gestation

Universal Home Entertainment

Fulwell 73 will team with Rose Pictures to co-produce “Mary’s Monster,” a film about “Frankenstein” author Mary Shelley as she struggles to complete her 1818 gothic masterpiece.

The book has inspired countless film, television and theatrical adaptations, including ones about its creation as Shelley is believed to have come up with the novel whilst just 19 years old and during a stay by Lake Geneva with husband Percy Bysshe Shelley and the poet Lord Byron.

Farren Blackburn (“A Discovery of Witches”) will direct the feature from a screenplay by Deborah Baxtrom (“Living With Frankenstein”). Heather Greenwood, Leo Pearlman, Rose Ganguzza, Max Born, Damon Lane and Jake Alden-Falconer will produce.
