“Euphoria,” “Doogie,” “L” Renewed

HBO

Several renewal orders have been handed out with the most profile being HBO’s “Euphoria” which has scored a third season renewal.

The Zendaya-led series is in the middle of airing its second run and has been a ratings juggernaut for the network along with scoring critical acclaim. The series currently has an audience of more than 14 million viewers across all platforms – more than double its first season.

HBO has also renewed its surprise smash “Somebody Somewhere” for a second season. The announcement comes only three days after its third episode aired.

The series is inspired by the life of Kansas-born Bridget Everett grappling with the recent loss of her sister and discovers solace in singing and in friends.

Showtime is doubling down on its lesbian drama “The L Word: Generation Q” with the sequel series receiving an order for a ten-episode third season. The story follows the everyday lives of LGBTQ+ people in Los Angeles and their relationships, frustrations, setbacks and success.

Finally, Disney+ has picked up a second season of “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee as the titular prodigy.

The renewal comes almost three months after the first season of the coming-of-age medical half-hour dramedy aired its finale.
