A huge free update is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on August 26, adding in lots of new content while also upgrading what’s already in there. The update, which is celebrating the game’s 6 million sales milestone, adds a new playable character, a new mission, and much more.
The new character is Supreme Time Kai, a major character from the game’s plot. She’s a God, so she’ll be pretty powerful. Nine new fighting techniques are included too, so you can switch up your style.
There are also five new mascots being added, each with three different color schemes. Puar, Fat Buu, Chiaotzu, Fat Gotenks, and Zeno can now be made to follow you around, which is fun.
There are plenty of other little features being added, too. There are new raid quests, and all raid events will now drop items. There are 10 new companion character models, and updates to existing models. Online play is being tweaked a bit, and 50 new Hero Colosseum figures are being added.
All up, it’s a huge free update, and could breath some new life into the game on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 isn’t the only Dragon Ball game receiving an update soon–Master Roshi is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ, while Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is going to add Super Saiyan Blue form in an upcoming DLC.
