A third entry in the “Deadpool” franchise has gained steam suddenly as “Bob’s Burgers” duo Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin have signed on to pen the script for next installment in the action series starring the foul-mouthed mercenary.
In addition, reporter Justin Kroll has tweeted that according to his sources the film is still expected to be rated R like the previous two installments. The new film will mark the first time Kevin Feige and his team will work hand in hand with Reynolds on the former Fox property.
This news marks the first genuine news that the project is happening as the movie seemed to be in limbo following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick penned the previous two installments.
