Hamilton have signed forward David Moyo from National League South club St Albans City. The 24-year-old Zimbabwe-born former Northampton player has signed a season-long deal for Brian Rice’s team following a week’s trial. Moyo told the club’s official website: “I’m a physical player, I know this is a physical league and I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing my football in Scotland. “I believe in the manager’s philosophy and what he’s trying to achieve at the club, so I’m looking forward to getting started.” Chairman Allan Maitland added: “I’m delighted to have David on board, he’s got a great attitude and understands exactly what we’re trying to achieve here and that’s why he’s now a Hamilton player.” Topics Scottish Premiership, Hamilton Rice: Hamilton players encouraged by victory at Aberdeen Rice wants response from Hamilton after derby let-down Delphin Tshiembe confident Hamilton can survive ‘intense’ relegation battle Rice rails at Hamilton ‘habit’ of inconsistency Solskjaer homecoming win soured by surgery setback for Bailly Hibs winger Boyle needs more knee surgery Lennon salutes solid display as Celtic progress in Champions League qualifying Winger Ilkay Durmus joins St Mirren from Wacker Innsbruck Celtic beat Nomme Kalju to set up Champions League qualifying clash with Cluj Fantasy football team names: 49 excellent (and awful) ideas for yours this season 9 things we think will happen in the 2019/20 Premier League season Juventus prepared to offer £10m plus these two players for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku 5 centre-backs Arsenal could target to replace Laurent Koscielny Monday’s big transfer rumours: Juventus star keen to join Paul Pogba at Manchester United
